Cé La Vi Hong Kong was an iconic, multi-level lifestyle destination that, from 2015 until its closure in 2020, epitomized the height of upscale urban nightlife in the heart of Central's California Tower. The establishment was a sprawling venue, spanning over 11,000 square feet across the top three floors of the building, offering a comprehensive experience designed to capture the essence of its name—"C'est la vie," or "This is life".
The experience unfolded across these three voluminous floors. The crown jewel was unquestionably the open-aired Sky Bar on the 26th floor, perched high above the bustling Lan Kwai Fong district. Here, guests congregated for the renowned "Sundowner Sessions," sipping cocktails as they watched the sun dip below the magnificent, dense skyline and Victoria Harbour, accompanied by the chic sounds of a resident DJ. It was a visual and social spectacle unmatched in the city.
One floor down, the 24th-floor restaurant offered a sophisticated escape. Under the guidance of chefs with Nobu experience, it served modern Asian cuisine with a strong Japanese accent. The atmosphere was intimate and elegant, a sought-after location for dates where dishes like Wagyu beef and a signature molten matcha tart were savoured amidst dimmed lighting and ambient house music.
For those seeking a more energetic atmosphere, the 25th floor housed the Club Lounge, featuring elevated dance floors and DJ booths. This space was a buzzing hub, attracting a stylish, cosmopolitan crowd with a lively mix of pop anthems and deep house, ensuring the party continued well into the early hours.
