FINDS, Hong Kong's pioneering Scandinavian restaurant, was conceived in 2004 by the Cafe Deco Group to introduce Nordic cuisine to the bustling Tsim Sha Tsui district. Located on the first floor of the boutique The Luxe Manor hotel at 39 Kimberley Road, the project occupied an elegant space of approximately 3,500 square feet. The design narrative aimed to transport guests from the urban intensity of Kowloon to the serene landscapes of Northern Europe, using a sophisticated interior palette of natural materials, dark timbers, and contemporary Scandinavian furnishings. The name itself was a clever acronym for the five nations whose cuisines were celebrated: Finland, Iceland, Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. The kitchen specialized in authentic techniques like smoking, curing, and pickling, importing seasonal ingredients directly from Northern Europe to provide an unparalleled, authentic dining experience that remained a cornerstone of Hong Kong's dining scene for over a decade.
