DFS City of Dreams

The T Galleria at City of Dreams Macau is one of the region’s largest luxury retail environments, spanning approximately 16,300m² across multiple levels within the integrated resort. The development created a striking central atrium, expanded luxury fashion zones, and introduced unique new specialty halls, all carefully thought through and seamlessly integrated, regardless of their category.
Our project management role centred on delivering this large-scale transformation within a live, high-density hospitality and gaming complex. The biggest challenge was not the design itself, but executing it without disrupting the resort’s continuous 24-hour operations.
Construction zones were distributed across several levels, requiring tightly controlled staging, coordinated shutdowns, and meticulous sequencing between trades. Works were fast-tracked, ran concurrently, and demanded daily alignment with casino and hotel operators to maintain guest safety, circulation routes, and fire-life-safety compliance.
Significant focus was placed on ensuring the expanded space supported DFS’s operational and commercial goals. We worked closely with their teams to refine circulation paths, product visibility, and adjacencies - all critical factors in high-traffic luxury retail where customer flow directly impacts performance.
The project was completed in 2017 and tripled the client’s original footprint, reinforcing City of Dreams as one of Asia’s leading luxury retail destinations.
